If you took no action during annual enrollment, all current elections will carry over to 2025, with the exception of your flexible spending account (FSA) elections, which do not carry over from year to year. You must re-enroll in the health care and/or dependent care FSA each year.
If you do not enroll within your initial 30-day enrollment period, you will automatically receive the default coverage outlined below, retroactive to your hire date. You will not have an opportunity to make changes until the next annual enrollment, unless you have a qualified life event. If you are hired in the fourth quarter of a calendar year, you will need to enroll in benefits for that year and the following year. You will receive a letter from the Benefits Service Center explaining the additional actions you need to take before the deadline.

If you experience a qualified life event at any point during the year, you must make any changes on NetBenefits or contact the Benefits Service Center at 800-666-3725 within 30 days of the event. The changes made must be related to the life event you experience.
Qualified Life Events, also known as HIPAA special enrollment events, include getting married, having a baby, going on a military leave, experiencing a significant increase in the amount you pay for dependent care or losing other coverage.
