In-network fertility benefits, including artificial insemination, ovulation induction and advanced reproductive treatment (ART), are covered under Merck’s medical plan at 80%, after the deductible.
Fertility preservation (e.g., cryopreservation and the storage of cryopreserved egg, sperm and embryo) is also covered when medically necessary, such as with the diagnosis of cancer or gender dysphoria.
You do not need to be diagnosed as infertile to take advantage of fertility benefits. This means anyone can use fertility benefits at any time.
